Time to Add Weight: Going back to 135

I have been pounding sets with 95 lbs for long enough I think. I will be going back to 135 max weight and gassing out for a little while with that. We will see what happens.

I think gassing out with 95 was good for conditioning and restarting my training consistency after my long 18 month no lifting hiatus. I have built some muscle base, but heavier weights are necessary for further muscle addition, I think.

This is really just a human science experiment. But I am making progress, and things are looking good from here.

We will see how the heavier weight goes. I will still try to max reps, but getting to 20 will be harder now.

If I can gass 135 for a little while, maybe until July 4th or so, then I may be fully launched back into lifting. Who knows, maybe I will start pressing 225 on bench again. I dont’ see the point of going heavy, but maybe 135 or so as my weight choice will enhance my running performance.

I need to lose 20+ pounds, so hopefully the higher max weight of 135 helps me do so. This is a problem right now.
