I kept my barbell weight at 95 and am still pushing for higher reps. Got 7 pull ups, so my strategy is working.
I will eventually go heavier, but for now I am enjoying the higher speed, athleticism focused training.
I am getting less fat too. My developing FUPA is going away and overall body fat is going down. So I will stay with the 95 lbs and higher running load until I get the fat down some more.
I am going to add Good Mornings supersetted with the Back Squats/Front Squats. It will work.
I am in the weight room for 25-30 minutes approximately. I am headed out the door and did more work than basically everyone in the gym. I see so many dudes just sitting around looking at the weights. Zero explosiveness and zero speed. They think: “I did the lift, why am I not more explosive?” No one is breaking a sweat. It is what it is I guess. I am just retardmaxxing the lifts. Amazingly, it works great.
