How to Jog if You’re a Big Boy

If you weight over 200 lbs, you will probably gas out jogging way too soon.

The solution I have for this is to 1/4 your arm swing pace compared to your step pace.

You should take four steps for each time you swing your arm.

Your right arm will be “up” for four footfalls. Two right footfalls and two left footfalls.

Then swing your arms once to “left arm up”.

Four more steps, then swing your arms again.

This saves A LOT of energy as you don’t need to swing your heavy club arms all the time.

Those of us who lift have a lot more mass and muscle than skinny, spindly runners. We have to adapt to be able to jog for a few miles.

Try it out and then you will have jogging ability and superior strength and speed compared to skinny runner dudes.
